Bejeweled 3 keeps the game's classic match-3 gaming experience intact, but has completely overhauled the graphics and sound and has thrown in a few twists to keep things fresh.
Some of those twists include Quest modes, a timed Lightening mode (inspired by PopCap's Facebook game Bejeweled Blitz) and a new Zen mode which you can play forever and activate "options for meditation and stress relief, including breath modulation, ambient sounds, binaural beats and mantras for focusing your thoughts."

Four examples of some of the new Bejeweled modes you'll encounter in the game:
- Poker: Make matches to create winning Poker hands and -- as the game progresses -- avoid making 'outlawed' hands, when a flip of a coin will determine whether it's game on or game over
- Diamond Mine: Explode gems to tunnel beneath the earth, and discover gold, artifacts and Hypercubes along the way
- Butterflies: Match butterfly gems to free them before they reach the top of the board. If they elude your gem-matching skills, the spider waiting for them at the top wins.
- Ice Storm: Keep a wall of rising ice at bay by matching gems as fast as possible in a limited amount of time.
Bejeweled 3 has also overhauled its badge and achievements system, and you'll also be able to check out your game stats after you finish a round.

PopCap Games has unleashed Bejeweled 3 on the world, and productivity is about to hit a standstill. If experience tells us anything, this new Bejeweled (like the others before it) will most likely have you swapping gems day and night if you don't keep yourself in check. (And, if you don't, well, we'll most likely be right along there with you).
Bejeweled 3 is available for download online (right here on Games.com) and at retail for $20 -- but, if you're lucky, you can enter to win a code that will let you download the game for the low price of FREE. And, considering the holiday season tends to be a little spendy, it sure would be nice to get something for FREE, wouldn't it?

Sims Social: Claim your free Plants vs Zombies Sunflower
Among the free Social Points, Simoleons and SimCash given away by Playfish on the Sims Social fan page on Facebook, you can occasionally find the rare, exclusive treasure. Sure, Social Points and SimCash are definitely appreciated, but when it comes to cross-promotions between the Sims Social and Playfish's Plants vs Zombies, well, that's something a bit more special.
For a limited time, you can now claim a Sunflower from Plants vs Zombies for use in your own home as a decoration. If you've spotted this Sunflower hanging around Bella's House when you visit her, you can now claim one for yourself by clicking on this link right here. This link is universal, so anyone can click on it, but you can only do so once (unfortunately). Believe me, I'd love to have an army of Sunflowers lining my garden as well (for the inevitable zombie apocalypse), but hopefully this one will be able to offer enough sunshine to last us a short while, at least until we can dig out the heavy artillery - shotguns and the like. Have I thought too far into this? Probably.
All I know for sure is that this plant is awesome, and Plants vs Zombies is awesome, and you should definitely claim a Sunflower for your house! Just make to do so fast - there's no telling when the link will become inactive, taking your chance at a free Sunflower right along with it!

Survey: Bejeweled Blitz could sharpen old noggin in baby boomers
Robot Unicorn Attack -- the most magical game of all time -- and its darker twin, Heavy Metal, now have company as their developer, Adult Swim Games, has finally decided to launch a stable of their games on Facebook yesterday.
Adult Swim, a cable network (on the same channel as the Cartoon Network) known for dozens of high-quality absurdist and shock comedy shows, runs a games portal that houses over a hundred absurdist and shock comedy online games. (However, there's no overlap between the two in terms of content. That is, you're not going to get a Robot Unicorn Attack show, or a Venture Bros. game, no matter how badly you want one.) Now a fraction of that portal is accessible via Facebook.
To give you an idea of what you'll be walking into, they've got titles like "Five Minutes to Kill Yourself Wedding Day", "Amateur Surgeon", "Pole Dance Party", "Death Row Diner", and "Radioactive Teddy Bear Zombies". Of course, Robot Unicorn Attack is also there, but it's only linked there, since it was released last September as a separate app.

This new arcade app currently contains 21 games categorized along 6 genres: Action, Adventure, Twitchy, Shooter, Puzzle, and Classic. If you're wondering what "Twitchy" means, it describes games where reaction time is of utmost importance.

Unlike your usual new Facebook game launch, all of these games have stood the test of time on the Adult Swim Games website. However, the arcade app itself is currently in beta, so if something breaks or you've got a kerfuffle, shoot them an email at games@adultswim.com.
